A new year brings a new time of hope. God’s Word tells us hope starts with Him.
Acknowledge Him. Sit quietly in His presence. Share your hurts, your heartaches, your disappointments, mistakes, misunderstandings. Acknowledge that He hears you.
Acknowledge Jesus as Savior. Profess that He is sovereign and loves you greatly. That He has the power to bring you to your best, that He wants to do so. Trust your life to His almighty hands.
Wait in hope for Him. God is working out His plan. We can wait with anticipation, patience, and hope. His plan will be perfect because His love for us is perfect.
Let’s abound in praise and joyful hope as we trust Him to bring us His goodness and glory.
“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. (Psalm 62:5-6 ESV)
